The next day went to Mei Yee’s birthday..
ate a little than went to zouk for RF’s 10th anniversary with ongee,mervin,yang. Met jac and the girls inside the club =)

Nothing much about clubbing but I had one hell of a good time dancing with my best pals !
Ongee had a bad relationship time on that day. Mervin and me kinda gave him the good advices and it was solved !

Accompanied ongee  the whole night, the whole morning and after that went to O School for my final Locking II class with IAN. Hope he organise sessions together with the FB lockers which he said he were going to do so.

Rush to Singapore’s Flyers to watch DZone in performance, a crew in my SP dance.
Went to eat @ marina and went IT show with all the balloons we had during the event. hahaha

Overall  Review: very boring.
Because of the terrian. Narrow path, traffic lights. Lucky got albert/lewis, zhiwei, jac and tianjun to spice things up

Practical Training, Youth Olympic 2010, Skateline skate session(albert bday)

Ok lets start with the Riding Practical Training.
**slightly long post**

Its been 4 lessons and i haven’t fail once but this practical, its different.
Its more of General Riding , blind spot, moving/stoping up and down a slope, lane positioning for bikes.

NB.. so many things to do in that 100mins session. The best thing you can do is … More practice right ?
But NOOOOO, that MR choo instructor gave us(3 guys) a lecture and expect us to know what to do right after hearing his words of wisdom -_-”
That MAY work for those who clearly understands what he is saying but for people like me, its keep doing it till I can get it else I can never get it.

Out of the whole circuit . i passed 50% . Which means in 2 trys;
1st attempt : perfect
2nd attempt: screwed up some major shit like stopping before the stop line & taking sharp turns.
He took quite a long time to decide whether to pass me or not and eventually he decided not to. In order to perfect my turns and etc.

And that decision  dampens my motivation ALOT to chiong within these two months to complete all the practical lessons and get my PDL but i respect his decision totally, just a bit heart pain about the $26.60
THANKS Mr Choo.. For making the right decision. =)

Valentine Day…..

Yup.. its the traditional day which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine’s cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery.

Seems so weird because I have no one to confess too … Hmmm ..

But i spent my time teaching in schools instead.
It is the first time i ever taught in schools.

First school was Woodlands secondary. 80+ students , 5 instructors .
Damn song for them, their last lesson is actually skating lesson T_T after skating and go back home.. How i wish we had this in Queenstown Secondary ;(
The school has lots of malays and for some reason was quite okay, still can manage the crowd.
I taught the boys group..

There is this 3 good white chinese guys , secondary 3 i think. They really cannot let go of each other.. Every time they try to stand up, they will at least hold their friend and pull them like a baby holding their mum’s skirt to stand up ~_~
So BTH..
I even gave them a rule. Rule no 1 : Do not hold each other !!
But they really cannot control their urge sia … haha

Next school was the orhid park secondary.
We taught the ‘problematic’ students .

When we first landed there, i immediately got insulted sia !!! **in chinese(who is black guy, wheres albert!!)**
wah.. My heart sanked man…
Without knowing me , call me black liao. Guess its normal.

When gearing up, They keep asking me wear their skates like i’m skating for them !_~!
“tcher, help me take my gears”
“tcher, i cannot put my bucket in”
“tcher, what size do i where”
“tcher, help me buckle my helmet, i can’t see”

Rejected them so many times.. so used to saying ” No, do it yourself ” after today.
There is this girl, secondary 2, which screams like a 4 yr old kid ~_~ Her voice is freaking sharp !! like needle, cannot stand ~_~
And 1 chinese guy whom I think I’ve offended him in my previous life.
He keep calling me ” OUIII ” , than I would stare at him and he will say; ” Oh , not calling you “

And another guy who likes calling me Mr Bean which I’m perfectly okay with it.

There is this malay guy who keep calling me shafiq or something like that.. T_T

TOTAL EXPERIENCE : DAMN FUN 9/10 !! * 1/10 is the insults i get *

slaloming with an aim, war dance2007

Just came back from East Coast Park’s famous rink .
Saw the new rink at the previous big splash.. freaking big !! freaking nice!! too bad its a little sloping good new for the sliders though.

Anyway, As i was slaloming, i also thought alot. About my aim in skating and what I plan to do with it.
I’ve been skating for about 3 years now and I haven’t get to anywhere new, such as competitions and standard.
My slalom standard is still around the same, messy.

So this is what I came up with after so much considerations. hahaha

1. To slalom ONLY when i’m free, don’t slides ( cause it burns my wheels and also fucks with my edging )
2. Aim to compete in a competition when I feel that I’m ready.. ( don’t know how long it will take )
3. Not to slack around in the rink anymore. ( I spent half of my time in the rink slacking without putting on my skates and another long period of time wearing it .. haha )

Hmmm … I’ll try to keep to it .. hahaha
War Dance 207 !

This movie won lots of award man ..
Besides the saddening aspects of the film, it was also uplifting and brought a smile to my face. Simple things that we take for granted made these children so happy. The video taken was beautiful and symbolic. The children were lovable. Everyone should see this film as it opens our eyes to what others suffer and overcome. It helped me to realize how lucky I was to live in Singapore and have the life that I have. The film also builds awareness and gives the us information on how they can help out with situation in Uganda(African) .

The part where the tribe dance together on the stage for the first time and it was their final performance.
Really touches my heart. Their outfit rocks also, i love the feathers on their head.

Went to ECP to skate yesterday with cow and my brother…
Wanted to slalom the whole night, but wasn’t in the mood for some reason., so decided to skate to changi to eat nasi lemak and back.

The air was really cold thou, didnt sweat much O.o

We left the rink around 10.48 .. reached changi hawker centre at 12.50 arrived back at ECP around 2am T_T
Total more than 30km.
Quite slow le ..

At least i had fun… Sometimes, a little timeout with your siblings is something we all need once in a while..

First Movie watched today..
REDLINE

It is based on a story by Daniel Sadek, who also allowed his own automobile collection to be used in the film.
NB, this guy got so many cars , i bet he don’t know what to do with it hence coming up with a movie !?
Theres a part where he showed all his cars during the movie… T_T FREAKY !!
And which idiot would bet 25 million in a race T_T .. that’s like all your life man .. crazy ass film !
To be honest, i was looking for normal cars getting pimped up T_T
End up i got disappointed, because all the cars are so exotic .

Story quite nice… i like it how the war hero saved the day … and how she ended the race .. POWER !

BORDERTOWN ~

This movie is about the North American Free Trade Agreement by opening large maquiladoras right across the United States border. The maquiladora’s hire mostly Mexican women to work long hours for little money in order to produce mass quantity products whom have no protection or whatever from ‘the devil’ which they refer as rapist and murderer .

Theres a part which i don’t understand why they add in the scene.
About Lauren(jennifer lopez) dated a guy( forgot his name already) and later in the night was a sex scene between them T_T ..

NB !!! the show portraits her as a strong woman whose main objective is to help the woman in Mexico which that scene, it really leaves me a “WTF” feeling man.. I don’t know what are the producers thinking.. I really don’t understand why they added in that scene would be so much better without it. Maybe Jennifier Lopez wanted it ? since she was credited as a producer in the credits… Hmmmm …

It opened my eyes about whats happen in there..

A rainy sunday :(

Went to work today, was ready for a full day shift.
The morning started out fine till it was 12pm, than i started to drizzle , followed by rain at 2pm !!! and throughout the day.

There goes my money, down the pail..

Its really dis hearting to wait for for 4 hours waiting for the rain to stop and hoping that you’re able to work and get some cash.
Next week would be CNY and there is no lesson in the whole week ! SIAN !~

This movie is the exact same storyline with dumb & dumber.

The girls version is TOTALLY not funny.. I just don’t like how blonde being describe as dumb creatures in the movie..
Pamela Anderson seriously can’t act for nuts, don’t know about you guys but most of the time i keep staring at her boobs -_-” Nb , in this show, she always wear those outfit which enhances her special ‘feature’ ~_~ goodness !!! …

PLEASE DON’t WASTE UR TIME ON THIS MOVIE !!!

love this movie.
its about a career woman whose focus is all on her job and doesn’t want any distractions.
than suddenly, her sis died and left her with a kid which hates her but she single handed showered the kid with loved and eventually gained her little trust.

The ending is a nice twist… where they opened a cafe which is named after the three.. the kid , mum and new bf hahaha

The Golden Compass 2007

Yesterday went to skate with the skateline bunch of friendly peeps ..
Its the first time wearing my SEBA skates after a good 2 months !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not used to slaloming again .. Kinda weird feeling thou ..

Anyway, today morning went school for this meeting for our freshmen orientation ‘ open house ‘ CCA drive.
its kinda cool man.. Our Arts section which includes 17 clubs are given a classroom to decorate it, to make sure that students stay in the room and find out about our ‘ vibrant life ‘ @ SP .

The best part is ….. we were given NO BUDGET !! means can use all the money we want …
SP rox eh ?

After that went jogging session with gay cow.
Ran for a good 4.8km only and was totally shack after it .
Guess need more training in order to complete my 42km ??!?!

The Golden Compass 2007

I know im abit wols for this , but i have to say this movie rocks !

The crazy armored bear played a very important role in this movie which he pledged his life for the kid, lyra..
The special effects is topnotch !

Imagine having a compass which tells the truth.. we would be billionaire man !!

very predictable ending ..
Its like a fairtale where in the end, everyone live happier ever after. ..

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.

Damn..

I hate it when I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Where your body just feels so damn restless after 10 hours of sleep and doesn’t want to do anything but to lie down on the bed and stare at the ceiling ?
And your mind has so much things inside, thinking about it and also doing nothing about it.

Today is just one of the day man …

Went to work today .. taught half an hour and it freaking rained ! -_-”

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007

Went to O school recital at chinatown far east square with SDZians ~
have to say the performance is dope man !! esp the regee and street jazz .
Saw yang and Ziguo(performing the bboy item) there also….

after the performance.. there is this mini cypher.. i got pulled in by BEN ._.
althought i think he was pointing at vincent ! ahaha
did some locking inside and ran off… *imagine doing your stuff around the professional dancers >< *

After that ,

I was actually planning to run the full 42km in Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon2007 .

but end up i chose to volunteer … to claim CIP hours for my stupid module ( character Development).

I helped out as a skate assist volunteer..

my main job was the “encourage” the people taking part for the wheel chair race.
I certainly have to say that their determination to even complete the 10km race was extremely amazing.
My brother and I was accompanying this guy “John” . he never gave up! not even took a short break. besides having a rental wheelchair, one of his support wheel broke off which means its impossible for him to lean back as thats the only support that supports him to lean back but he said its ok and he carry on pushing sia..

My hats off to him! thats the kind of determination that we all need!
